Jacob Sommers – A Generation Is Going

Of my seventy-nine years of existence, I can truly say I have had a most satisfying life. My years as a vagabond taught me many things. After my three years in the Air Force, my brother patiently taught me the carpenter trade. Besides building houses, I spent some years in the Carpenters Union where I learned to work on commercial buildings, including: schools, colleges, banks, telephone-buildings, and many others. It was always satisfying work.
I raised four children and was married to a very patient lady for forty-five years. After her death from cancer, I had hoped that I too could complete my life course, but that was not to be. I met and married again a kind and gentle lady. She made my life most satisfying and I am very thankful for all the grand things that I have experienced.
Throughout my life, I have been told time and time again to write a book, so I did in the course of fourteen years. I hope my readers enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
